Planting Seeds for Future Generations

Nearly 350 species of flowering plants have been identified by volunteers in Midpen’s Sierra Azul Open Space Preserve during our annual wildflower census, which helps record the impacts of climate change on wildflowers and pollinators.

A First Step Toward Cloverdale Ranch Acquisition

In December, the Midpen board of directors took its first public steps toward a proposed purchase of the 6,500-acre Cloverdale Ranch property, currently owned by the Peninsula Open Space Trust, by authorizing the general manager to apply to accept two significant sources of funding.
