There are many ways to get involved with Midpen's work: join us at a public meeting to offer input on our project planning process, attend free guided activities led by volunteer docent naturalists for a great way to explore a new preserve, take part in volunteer projects to care for our local landscapes or check out our job listings and bid solicitations for opportunities to join our work as we continue to preserve, protect and restore the natural environment.
Public Meetings
The Midpen board of directors holds its regular meetings on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month at 7 p.m. at the Midpen Administrative Office: 5050 El Camino Real, Los Altos, CA. The public is invited and encouraged to attend these meetings and to participate in the decision-making process. Citizen participation is an essential part of the planning process for the development and use of the District's open space preserves.
