The Committee Chair will invite public comment on items not the agenda.  Each speaker will ordinarily be limited to three minutes; however, the Brown Act (Open Meeting Law) does not allow action by the Committee on any item not on the agenda. 1. Approve the February 5, 2019 Legislative, Funding, And Public Affairs Committee Meeting Minutes

2. 2019 State of California Legislative Session –  Briefing on Matters of Interest to Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District (R-19-26)

General Manager’s Recommendation: Receive and discuss the 2019 State of California Legislative Session update from legislative consultants, Public Policy Advocates LLC., and Environmental and Energy Consulting.

3. Legislative Briefing on Matters of Interest to Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District (R-19-27)

Staff Contact: Joshua Hugg, Governmental Affairs Specialist
General Manager’s Recommendations: Receive Legislative Action Report and provide feedback on bill selections for priority action.

4. Consideration of a commemorative rock with plaque for Konrad and Kathryn Krauskopf at Long Ridge Open Space Preserve (R-19-28)

General Manager’s Recommendations: Forward to the full Board of Directors (Board) a recommendation to install a commemorative rock with plaque for conservationist and significant supporter Francis Conley, who wishes to honor her late parents, Konrad and Kathryn Krauskopf, at Long Ridge Open Space Preserve.
