Midpen is looking for qualified ranger candidates who are seeking a challenging and rewarding career. Midpen rangers are generalist rangers who perform a wide variety of functions. Day-to-day activities include engaging the public through interpretation, patrolling Midpen preserves and enforcing regulations, responding to medical emergencies, wildland fires and search and rescue incidents, performing light maintenance tasks and natural resource management assignments.

Informational tablings will take place on the following dates and locations:
- October 8, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Rancho San Antonio Open Space Preserve
- October 15, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Windy Hill Open Space Preserve
- October 22, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at El Corte de Madera Creek Open Space Preserve
- October 29, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Rancho San Antonio Open Space Preserve
