In addition to our in-house volunteer and docent programs, Midpen partners with local stewardship agencies on a variety of projects.  These partners recruit from their unique volunteer forces, providing the District a diverse pool of stewards. Projects are planned with District staff, then coordinated and managed by our partners.
 
In 2016, Midpen worked together with the following organizations and will be expanding this program in the near future.

• Grassroots Ecology (formerly Acterra) at Russian Ridge and the Hawthorns Area of Windy Hill Preserve
• Village Harvest at the Stevens Canyon Ranch Area of Saratoga Gap Preserve
• Student Conservation Association at a variety of District Preserves
