Midpen docents recently spent the day training with Save the Redwoods League in preparation for the "Redwoods and Climate Change" high school field trip program. This fall, over 165 students from Sequoia Union High School District will visit Purisima Creek Redwoods for a field learning experience that connects redwood forest ecology and climate change issues. Students will learn about indicator species, carbon sequestration, and participate in a mini bioblitz using iNaturalist.
