Practicing mindfulness in nature is an ideal way to honor veterans of war. Join Docent Naturalists Ann McCarty, Marie Faust Evitt, and Catherine Crawford-Swent on this leisurely-paced exploration of nature-based practices to hone your observational skills on a loop hike along White Oak, Skid Road, and Stevens Creek Nature trails. Part of the day will include an opportunity for a safe “solo” hike to integrate some of the techniques you’ll have focused on earlier. Come with an open mind, a willing heart, and a readiness to share. Bring a snack to enjoy in the cool shade along the way.
