Did you know that locals in Saratoga once had a two-day-long party to celebrate a road? Those party animals! Join Docent Naturalists Bobbie Riedel, Nancy Weintraub, and Catherine Xun to ramble the old Saratoga Toll Road. You’ll start among the conifers of the Nutmeg and Red Mountain trails before crossing Highway 9 to discover this re-purposed hiking and riding trail and learn a little of its history.

Where to Meet

Meet at Caltran's Saratoga Gap Vista Point Parking Area on the southeast corner of the Skyline Boulevard (Highway 35) and Highway 9 intersection.
