Trail Treks, scheduled on the fourth Thursday, provide exercise-focused hikes and opportunities to discover Midpen's beautiful preserves.

Join Docent Naturalists Nancy Weintraub, Nick Yatsko, and Bobbie Riedel for a moderately-paced loop trek with 800-feet climb along Saratoga Gap and Achistaca Trails at Long Ridge, to the Skyline-to-the-Sea Trail. You'll appreciate shady mixed evergreen forest, steep canyons, a visit to Turtle Rock, and grassy ridges with sweeping vistas westward across thousands of acres of forested land.

Where to Meet

Meet at Caltran's Saratoga Gap Vista Point Parking Area on the southeast corner of the Skyline Boulevard (Highway 35) and Highway 9 intersection.
