Trail Trek Thursday

October 24, 2024
9:30 am - 1:30 pm
Skyline Ridge Preserve
Approximate Total Miles
6

Trail Treks, scheduled on the fourth Thursday, provide exercise-focused hikes and opportunities to discover Midpen's beautiful preserves.

Head out-and-back with Docent Naturalists Bobbie Riedel, Nick Yatsko, and Nancy Weintraub on a moderately-paced jaunt connecting Skyline Ridge and Long Ridge preserves. You'll pass the Christmas tree and chestnut tree farms that give their names to the trails you’ll traverse. Will you also venture down to Peter's Creek Falls? Come find out.

Where to Meet

Meet at the Skyline Ridge Equestrian Parking Area on Skyline Boulevard located one mile south of the Skyline Blvd. (Highway 35) and Page Mill/Alpine Road intersection. After entering the preserve, proceed to the farthest parking lot on the left. Those traveling from I-280 on Page Mill Rd. should allow approximately 45 minutes travel time.
