Get your long weekend miles in with Docent Naturalists Anna Lee and Ani Agahian on this running tour of the landmarks in this forested preserve. See the majestic Methuselah Tree, the unique tafoni sandstone formations, and the regal redwoods. The route includes the Tafoni, El Corte de Madera Creek, and North Leaf trails. Olympic speed is not necessary—multiple paces accommodated—but be prepared for about 1,200 feet of elevation change!

Where to Meet

Meet at the El Corte de Madera Parking Area located on the west side of Highway 35 (Skyline Boulevard), about 1- mile south of the Caltrans Skeggs Point parking area and 2.7 miles north of the intersection of Highway 35 and Highway 84.
