Living in the San Francisco Bay area with its Mediterranean climate is pleasant for humans, but how do plants manage the long summer drought? Join Docent Naturalists Sabra Abraham and Lindsay Joye through grasslands, chapparal, and oak woodland plant communities to learn different survival strategies employed by plants. (Note: Meet at the Clarkia Trailhead on Canada Road).

Where to Meet

Meet at the parking lot for Edgewood County Park on Old Stage Coach Road. Exit I-280 at Edgewood Road. Head east on Edgewood Rd. for about 1 mile to the park entrance on the right.
