Take an early evening, late summer hike with Docent Naturalists Ann Reisenauer, Susan Bernhard, Noa Doitel, and Nancy Weintraub on the Ancient Oaks, Ridge, and Bo Gimbal trails. During this moderately-paced exploration you’ll find late summer wildflowers, listen to birds, and look for animal tracks. You’ll also climb Borel Hill to identify Mount Diablo and other Bay Area landmarks. After returning to your car, you’ll walk over to the Audrey Rust Commemorative Site and enjoy your own snack while watching the sun set behind Mindego Hill.
