Join Docent Naturalists Roberta and Jaime Cavazos and Sarah Schoen on a family-friendly, leisurely-paced hike to explore the different trees, look for acorns, and observe what fall looks and feels like in this part of the Santa Cruz Mountains. In anticipation of autumn, you’ll ask: Are there more evergreen or deciduous trees here along the San Andreas Fault Trail? Bring a light snack to enjoy.

Where to Meet

Meet at Los Trancos Parking Area on Page Mill Road (across from Monte Bello Preserve), 7 miles west of I-280 or 1.5 miles east of Skyline Boulevard. Those traveling from I-280 on Page Mill Rd. should allow approximately 35 minutes travel time.
