Fall is the season of scarlet, gold, pumpkin-orange, and dozens of other rich, natural hues. Join Docent Naturalists Roberta and Jaime Cavazos and Chris MacIntosh on a color-finding hike. Keep count of the different shades you spot on this family-friendly, leisurely-paced exploration around Horseshoe Lake. Can you find your favorite color? Bring a light snack to enjoy while you share what you observed in the autumn landscape.

Where to Meet

Meet at the Skyline Ridge Circle Parking Area on Skyline Boulevard located one mile south of the Skyline Blvd. (Highway 35) and Page Mill/Alpine Road intersection. After entering the preserve, turn right and go to the farthest parking area. Those traveling from I-280 on Page Mill Rd. should allow approximately 45 minutes travel time.

To ensure your experience on a docent naturalist outing is enjoyable please review these activity guidelines.
