Cultivate your senses with Docent Naturalists Bobbie Riedel, Katie Wilson, and Naureen Moon on this moderately-paced hike along Skyline-to-the-Sea Trail. You’ll listen to sounds within a canopy of great oaks, smell fragrant firs overhead, feel soft forest duff underfoot, touch moss-covered rocks trailside, and enjoy a view over Deep Gulch. Come ready to explore the deeply sensory experience of the natural world.

Where to Meet

Meet at the Sempervirens Point Parking Area on Highway 9/Big Basin Way. This lot is 2 miles southwest of the Skyline Boulevard (Highway 35) junction.

Coming from the north on Highway 35, turn right onto CA-9S/Big Basin Way and then turn left into the lot.
