1:00 pm - 5:00 pm
El Corte de Madera Creek Preserve
Approximate Total Miles
4.5

As the sun rises high and the days warm up, join Docent Naturalists Noa Doitel, Susan Bernhard, Maureen Draper, and Ann Reisenauer for a moderately-paced, exploratory hike along the shaded El Corte de Madera Creek and Tafoni trails. You'll see late-blooming spring flowers and learn how the redwood trees affect their environment. You'll hike in the mixed evergreen forest, among the redwoods and Douglas firs, as well as have a chance to visit the Tafoni sandstone and learn about this unique rock formation. Bring a snack.
