Join Docent Naturalists Frances Reneau and Nancy Weintraub for a visit to the Duveneck Windmill Pasture on a moderately-paced walk along the Rhus Ridge and Chamise trails. The old windmill, which provided water to the Duveneck's horses, is long gone, but the beautiful little meadow, or "pasture" is still here. Why is there a meadow here and what's growing in it? Shall we go look?
Reservations are required and will be accepted on or after January 27 at 12:00 (noon) and close February 9 at 2:00 p.m.
Directions will be sent after registration and close to the activity date.
