Come with an open mind to practice a unique way to spend time in nature: using your senses to deliberately and mindfully experience the natural world. On this leisurely-paced exploration with Docent Naturalists Ann McCarty and Marie Faust Evitt you’ll complete a loop on the White Oak, Skid Road, and Steven's Creek Nature trails. Part of the activity will include an opportunity for a safe "solo" hike to integrate some of the techniques and approaches you learned earlier in the day. Bring a snack to enjoy in the cool shade along the way.
