Ready to go to Madrone Knoll? Join Docent Naturalists Nick Yatsko, Nancy Weintraub, and Bobbie Riedel for a moderately-paced hike to a lovely spot at the top of this forested preserve. On the way up the Redwood Springs Trail, you’ll climb beneath the canopy of several kinds of trees, including Douglas fir, coast redwoods, and mixed evergreen woodland species. At the top, you’ll reach a triple junction where three watersheds join. You'll have the opportunity to enjoy this spot and a welcome snack break before heading back down the hill via the Upper Pete Siemens Trail.
