Looking for a way to get outside this Mother’s Day and pay homage to the shared source of life for all creatures? Put on your boots and join Midpen’s Interpretive Specialist Katie Renz and Docent Naturalists Debbie Mytels and Bobbie Riedel to honor everyone’s original mom—Mother Earth—with your attentive spirit and curious mind. You’ll learn about how wildflowers make their seeds with the help of local pollinators and look for baby animals while hiking the Zinfandel and Bear Meadow trails. Families and children who are capable of hiking and paying attention are encouraged to come along.
