Enjoy an afternoon hike with Docent Naturalists Mike Lohr and Mari Aldridge and experience late winter wildflowers while learning a little about the history of the area. What was at this preserve in the past, and will you find the elusive fetid adder's tongue (Scoliopus bigelovii)? You’ll traverse the Cordilleras, Polly Geraci, Dick Bishop, and Blue Oak trails in your quest. This will be a moderately-paced hike with several hills and some uneven terrain.

Where to Meet

Meet at the Pulgas Ridge Parking Area on Edmonds Rd. From I-280, exit Edgewood Road.  Drive 0.75 miles on Edgewood Rd. toward San Carlos/Redwood City. Turn left (north) on Crestview Drive, then immediately turn left on Edmonds Road. Follow Edmonds Rd. to the preserve parking lot entrance on the right.
