How many lizards can you spot on the sunny, wildflower-studded Clarkia Trail? Join Docent Naturalists Roberta and Jaime Cavazos and Melissa Hero on a family-friendly, leisurely-paced hike to use your observational skills while learning some fun facts about these skittering reptiles and the many different species of clarkia flowers found here. Bring your counting skills and a light snack to enjoy along the trail.

Where to Meet

Meet at the Clarkia Trailhead across from the parking pull-out off Cañada Rd. Exit I-280 at Edgewood Road. From the north: Turn right onto Edgewood Rd (signs for Cañada Rd). From the south: Turn left onto Edgewood Rd. After half a mile, turn left onto Cañada Rd. and travel 0.7 miles. The parking pull-out is on the right, across from the park. There is a crosswalk to cross Cañada Road to get to the trailhead.
