How Flowers Changed the World

April 12, 2025
9:30 am - 12:00 pm
Monte Bello Preserve
Approximate Total Miles
2.5

Explore the less-traveled southern end of this preserve on a leisurely-paced walk on the Waterwheel Creek Trail led by Docent Naturalists Maureen Draper, Susan Bernhard, Noa Doitel, and Ann Reisenauer. With a backdrop of stunning views of Skyline Ridge and the ocean, you'll learn how flowers came to be while likely encountering some stunning examples “in the petal,” such as the bell-shaped, multicolored checker lily.
