Geocaching Hike

9:30 am - 12:00 pm
Picchetti Ranch Preserve
Approximate Total Miles
2

Use satellite technology to find little boxes of toys outdoors with Docent Naturalists Sarah Schoen and Kim Borick on a leisurely-paced, family-friendly activity. We provide the tech; you wear long pants, be prepared to hike a bit off trail, and bring a snack and a few tiny, inexpensive toys to trade. You’ll follow the Zinfandel, Orchard Loop, and Vista trails. No previous geocaching experience needed. Reservations are required and will be accepted on or after August 9 at 12:00 p.m. (Noon) and close August 22 at 2:00 p.m.

Where to Meet

Meet at the preserve parking lot on Montebello Road. From the intersection of I-280 and Foothill Expressway, go 3.5 miles southwest (toward the mountains) on Foothill Boulevard/Stevens Canyon Road.  Turn right on Montebello Rd.  The preserve is 0.5 miles up Montebello Rd. on the left.

To ensure your experience on a docent naturalist outing is enjoyable please review these activity guidelines.
