Join docent naturalists Marie-Anne Neimat and Judy Sencenbaugh to explore the beauty of this preserve on a figure 8 loop route. You'll hike the Ipiwa and Sunny Jim trails, loop around Alpine Pond and return via different segments of Ipiwa and Sunny Jim trails before looping around Horseshoe Lake. You'll be treated to sweeping views of the hills and ocean and also enjoy early signs of spring in a variety of habitats. This hike will have between 600 and 1,000 feet of elevation change. Reservations are required and will be accepted on or after March 14 at 12:00 p.m. (Noon) and close March 25 at 2:00 p.m.

Where to Meet

Meet at the Skyline Ridge Circle Parking Area on Skyline Boulevard located one mile south of the Skyline Blvd. (Highway 35) and Page Mill/Alpine Road intersection. After entering the preserve, turn right and go to the farthest parking area. Those traveling from I-280 on Page Mill Rd. should allow approximately 45 minutes travel time.
