Can you find all eight species of ferns plus some of their leafy friends under the canopy of redwoods, Doug firs, and other trees? Join Docent Naturalists Nick Yatsko, Anouchka Gaillard, and Peter Maxwell on this moderately-paced hike along Alma Trail’s redwood-shrouded ravine before it transitions to a mixed woodland habitat. Then follow the Redwood Springs Trail and connect back to the Alma Trail to enjoy a snack break near the headwaters of spring-fed Webb Creek. You’ll visit two old-growth redwoods before completing your journey back to the parking area.
