Come along for a fun and educational hike following the San Andreas Fault with Docent Naturalists John Seyfarth, Lyle Rice, Katie Wilson, and Dave Kocsis. You'll observe the impact of plate tectonics on the Skyline landscape, learn stories of Monte Bello history before the creation of Midpen, look for early season flowers, and enjoy impressive ridge top views. (Note: Families with engaged children who are attentive listeners and capable of hiking several miles are welcome on this leisurely-paced outing with minimal elevation change.)

Where to Meet

Meet at Los Trancos Parking Area on Page Mill Road (across from Monte Bello Preserve), 7 miles west of I-280 or 1.5 miles east of Skyline Boulevard. Those traveling from I-280 on Page Mill Rd. should allow approximately 35 minutes travel time.
