10:30 am - 2:30 pm
Stevens Creek Shoreline Nature Area
Approximate Total Miles
4

Embark on a birding expedition with Docent Naturalists Nick Yatsko, Kate Bauer, and Mary Brunkhorst to look for waterfowl and other birds visiting the San Francisco Bay as they migrate along the Pacific Flyway. You'll enjoy the salt air and bay views as you take a leisurely-paced walk along the Bay, Levee, and Stevens Creek trails in your quest to see feathered friends from near and far. Bring a lunch for a short break.

Where to Meet

Meet in the “Kite Area” parking lot at Shoreline-at-Mountain View Park. From Highway 101, take Shoreline Boulevard east to the Shoreline Park entrance.  After passing the entrance kiosk, turn right into the parking lot.
