Welcome spring with a spring in your step! Join Docent Naturalists Kate Bauer, Mary Brunkhorst, and Nick Yatsko to look for early blooming flowers and other messengers of spring in a preserve noted for an impressive display of wildflowers throughout diverse habitats. An approximately 400-foot elevation gain will bring you to your lunch spot to honor the view before completing a loop that includes the Blue Oak, Dick Bishop, and Polly Geraci trails.

Where to Meet

Meet at the Pulgas Ridge Parking Area on Edmonds Rd. From I-280, exit Edgewood Road.  Drive 0.75 miles on Edgewood Rd. toward San Carlos/Redwood City. Turn left (north) on Crestview Drive, then immediately turn left on Edmonds Road. Follow Edmonds Rd. to the preserve parking lot entrance on the right.
