Experience the delight of discovering a variety of blooming wildflowers with Docent Naturalists Kate Bauer, Mary Brunkhorst, and Nick Yatsko on a moderately-paced hike along the Zinfandel and Creek trails. Clarkia, milkmaids, poppies, and hound's tongue are a few of the flowers you may encounter. Your lunch break will be at picnic tables by a lovely creek under a canopy of mature sycamore trees before you head back along the same route.

Where to Meet

Meet at the preserve parking lot on Montebello Road. From the intersection of I-280 and Foothill Expressway, go 3.5 miles southwest (toward the mountains) on Foothill Boulevard/Stevens Canyon Road.  Turn right on Montebello Rd.  The preserve is 0.5 miles up Montebello Rd. on the left.
