Join docent naturalists Mary Brunkhorst, Laura Levin, Dennis Smith, and Kate Gudmundson you meander along the Zinfandel trail to discover the wonders of this preserve and search for signs of early spring. You'll learn the history of the property, visit a seasonal pond, walk along a shaded trail, and enjoy a lunch break on this leisurely out and back hike. Reservations are required and will be accepted on or after March 2 at 12:00 p.m. (Noon) and close March 15 at 2:00 p.m. 

Where to Meet

Meet at the preserve parking lot on Montebello Road. From the intersection of I-280 and Foothill Expressway, go 3.5 miles southwest (toward the mountains) on Foothill Boulevard/Stevens Canyon Road.  Turn right on Montebello Rd.  The preserve is 0.5 miles up Montebello Rd. on the left.
