Explore the upper region of this preserve with Docent Naturalists Kate Bauer, Mary Brunkhorst, and Nick Yatsko. You'll make an approximately 200-foot elevation gain as you enjoy a moderately-paced out-and-back hike along the Lost Trail and a segment of the Bay Area Ridge Trail. A clear day will provide spectacular views of the San Francisco Bay Area to the east as you pass through grassland and forest among the breezes. Bring a snack or lunch.

Where to Meet

Meet at the Picnic Tables Roadside Parking (Highway 35), just south of Anniversary trailhead.
