We regret to have to cancel this activity due to the record-breaking temperatures. Please note that this activity is also scheduled for Saturday, November 9, 2024.

Located on the southern San Mateo County coast, 5,000-acre Cloverdale Ranch Preserve is an ecological jewel with a rich diversity of native plants and wildlife. Docent Naturalists Chris Christensen and Teri Baron will lead a moderately-paced hike across coastal grasslands to the summit of "High Hill" offering spectacular views of Pescadero and the surrounding landscape. The hike will focus on the acquisition history of the property and Cloverdale's unique natural and cultural history. Bring a lunch. Reservations are required and will be accepted on or after September 21 at 12:00 p.m. (Noon) and close October 4 at 2:00 p.m.
