Join Docent Naturalists Frances Reneau, Sabra Abraham, and Nancy Weintraub for the 19th in the "All Preserves" series celebrating Midpen's 50th anniversary offered at this special access location that is closed to the public. The Preserve is composed of two disconnected land parcels south of Tunitas Creek Road in Midpen's Coastside Protection area. This short loop hike through a summer-dry grazing leased area will focus on grassland ecology and conservation, and Midpen's coastside land management efforts. The terrain is uneven with few designated trails. You’ll be exploring a portion of Gordon Ridge, upslope from the little community of San Gregorio. Reservations are required and will be accepted on or after August 25 at 12:00 p.m. (Noon) and close September 7 at 2:00 p.m.
