ADOPTION OF AGENDA

ORAL COMMUNICATIONS
The Committee Chair will invite public comment on items not the agenda.  Each speaker will ordinarily be limited to three minutes; however, the Brown Act (Open Meeting Law) does not allow action by the Committee on any item not on the agenda. If you wish to address the Committee, please complete a speaker card and give it to the District Clerk. Individuals are limited to one appearance during this section.

1. Approve the March 12, 2019 and June 11, 2019 Legislative, Funding, and Public Affairs Committee meeting minutes

2. Consideration of a Special Recognition to Honor Chris MacIntosh (R-19-129)

Staff Contact: Renée Fitzsimons, Interpretation & Education Program Manager
General Manager’s Recommendation:  Recommend to the full Board of Directors approval to either name a trail in Purisima Creek Redwoods Open Space Preserve the “Chris MacIntosh Trail” or name the Harkins Ridge Trail bridge in the preserve as the “Chris MacIntosh Bridge” in recognition of Chris MacIntosh’s long-standing volunteer contributions to the Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District.

3. Proposed Amendments to the Personnel Policies and Procedures Manual (R-19-128)

Staff Contact: Candice Basnight, Human Resources Manager
General Manager’s Recommendation: Forward the proposed amendments to the Personnel Policies and Procedures Manual to the full Board of Directors for consideration and approval.
