ADOPTION OF AGENDA

ORAL COMMUNICATIONS
The Committee Chair will invite public comment on items not the agenda.  Each speaker will ordinarily be limited to three minutes; however, the Brown Act (Open Meeting Law) does not allow action by the Committee on any item not on the agenda. If you wish to address the Committee, please complete a speaker card and give it to the District Clerk. Individuals are limited to one appearance during this section.

1. Approve the October 30, 2018 Legislative, Funding, And Public Affairs Committee Meeting Minutes

2. Addition of Section VI Partner Recognition Signboard to Board Policy 5.01 – Site Naming, Gift, and Special Recognition (R-18-144)

Staff Contact: Melissa Borgesi, Planner I
General Manager’s Recommendations: Review and consider forwarding to the full Board of Directors Section VI, Partner Recognition Signboard, as an addition to Board Policy 5.01 – Site Naming, Gift, and Special Recognition to establish a centralized, consistent, and cohesive approach for recognizing significant partner contributions at preserve trailhead locations. 

3. Legislative Proposals for 2019 (R-18-146)

General Manager’s Recommendation: Review and provide input on legislative proposals for the 2019 legislative session, and consider forwarding the legislative proposals to the full Board of Directors for approval.
