ORAL COMMUNICATIONS
The Committee Chair will invite public comment on items not the agenda.  Each speaker will ordinarily be limited to three minutes; however, the Brown Act (Open Meeting Law) does not allow action by the Committee on any item not on the agenda. If you wish to address the Committee, please complete a speaker card and give it to the District Clerk. Individuals are limited to one appearance during this section.

1. Approve Legislative, Funding, And Public Affairs Committee Meeting Minutes:
October 24, 2017

2. Update to Board Policy 3.10 – District Grantmaking Program (R-18-06)

Staff Contact: Melanie Askay, Grants Specialist, Administrative Services
Acting General Manager’s Recommendation:  Recommend Board approval of updates to Board Policy on the District’s Grantmaking Program.

3. Consideration of Commemorative Trail and Bench for Stephen E. Abbors in the Rancho San Antonio Open Space Preserve  (R-18-05)

Staff Contact: Jennifer Woodworth, District Clerk/Assistant to the General Manager
General Manager’s Recommendation:  Forward to the full Board of Directors a recommendation to confer special recognition on Stephen E. Abbors by renaming the PG&E Trail in the Rancho San Antonio Open Space Preserve to the Stephen E. Abbors Trail and to install a commemorative bench and plaque at the intersection of the PG&E and Upper Wildcat Canyon Trails.
