Transparency Portal

The Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District’s transparency portal is part of our ongoing commitment to open government and transparency.  Midpen has received the District Transparency Certificate of Excellence from the Special District Leadership Foundation (SDLF) in recognition of its outstanding efforts to promote transparency and good governance. If you would like to learn more about the District’s involvement in this program or have additional questions or requests, please feel free to contact us.

Catalog of Enterprise Systems

In compliance with California Government Code Section 6270.5, the District is required to post a Catalog of Enterprise Systems. The catalog is a list of all the District's major business systems except those that are specifically excluded from publication under the statute. The catalog includes the rough time period over which the data is collected and updated.

Special Districts Financial Transactions Report

In compliance with California Government Code Section 53891, Midpen is required to submit financial transactions to the State Controller’s Office within seven months after the close of the fiscal year. This information can be viewed online at bythenumbers.sco.ca.gov.

Public Records Request

The Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District is committed to providing prompt, courteous access to Public Records. All requests for documents will be reviewed within 24 hours of receipt and responded to within 10 days in compliance with the California Public Records Act. Please download the Request for Records form for your request.

Many of Midpen's records, including public meeting agendas and minutes, and financial reports are now available in a searchable online public portal.
