In addition to heading outdoors and enjoying your preserves, you can also get involved with the District in other ways.

Donate

The Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District gladly accepts your donation to assist in carrying out our mission of preserving open space for future generations. Donate online using our convenient and secure credit card processing system. Or, if you prefer to contribute offline, simply complete the donation form and mail it with your check to MROSD 330 Distel Circle, Los Altos, CA 94022-1404. If you have questions, please call the administrative office 650-691-1200 for more information.

Please contact us if you would like information about gifts of land or property. Gifts to the District are treated the same as gifts to other charitable organizations under state and federal tax laws. Donations are tax deductible.

Attend a Meeting

The Board of Directors holds its official meeting the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at 7:30 PM. These meetings are open to the public and input is always welcome. Committees of the Board that include at least three Board members meet periodically throughout the year to discuss specific issues in more detail such as budgetary matters, legislation, and the use and management of District lands.

Volunteer

Each year, over 500 volunteers commit thousands of hours preserving and protecting open space lands. We invite you to join this dedicated team of volunteers and play an important role in managing these incredible preserves and trails. We offer a number of indoor and outdoor opportunities such as educating and inspiring visitors, constructing and maintaining trails, and removing invasive, non-native vegetation.
